Miss Pat’s dancers are not just her students, they are her life.
Miss Lauren Perilli-McElroy
fell in love with dance when she joined Miss Pat's studio at the age of two. Since then, her passion for all things performing has taken her to many remarkable places. While attending high school at Poly Prep, Lauren founded the Dance Team which competed nationally, winning top awards, including Best Choreography. Lauren attend NYU's prestigious CAP-21 Musical Theatre program where she studied among Broadway legends. Lauren attended Boston University's College of Fine Arts as an Acting major, performing leads with the Huntington Theatre Company. Her studies included a particular focus in period movement and stage combat. Continuing her professional career, recently Lauren has danced for choreographers Brice Mousset, Nejla Yatkin, and with Synthesis Dance Project, a contemporary jazz company, under the direction of Tracie Stanfield. Lauren is certified by Dance Educators of America in all major disciplines of dance, anatomy, and sports injury prevention. This year she happily accepted the opportunity to judge a number of dance competitions, lending her knowledge of dance as an industry professional to students and teachers from various cities. Her ongoing role as studio owner and co-director of Dimensions in Dance is a great joy and a great accomplishment.
